About me
Thanh Phuong Nguyen received his PhD in computer science at Lorraine University, France, in 2010. He has been teaching assistant at Lorrain University from 2009 to 2011, then he has worked as a postdoctoral fellow at CMM, Mines Paristech in 2012, at Robotics and Computer Vision lab, ENSTA Paristech from 2013 to 2015. Since september 2015, he is Assoc. Prof. at University of Toulon, France and member of SIIM team, LIS laboratory. Since 2023, he is Co-Head of this research team. He obtained Habilitation (HDR) in 2021. His research interests include deep learning, image analysis, visual descriptor, action recognition, texture analysis, shape representation and discrete geometry in which he has published 31 journals.
